Chestnuts roasting on an open fire
Yep- festive nuts at Stanley Park, and on most
street corners, really tasty!
Jack Frost nipping at your nose
Tis getting cold, but still wet not snowy
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir
Have heard some singers, but the W 10th association
of shops is planning to hire singers all dressed to
suit in the run up...
And folks dressed up like Eskimos
Well lots of Santas, Miss Santa and elves actually.
The eskimos are probably eskimos so i'm gonna be PC
and not say they've got fancy dress costume on!


Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe
mmmmm, but I think the Christmas meal will probably
be a yummy roast Chicken
Help to make the season bright
There are enough lights for that!
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
Oh yeah, and me too it's too exciting!
Will find it hard to sleep tonight


They know that Santa's on his way
He is, in fact i'm sure I saw him the other night..
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh
And every mother's child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer really know how to fly
OF COURSE THEY CAN!!!!


And so I'm offering this simple phrase
For kids from one to ninety two
Although its been said many times many ways
Merry Christmas to you
