Ok so things at American Eagle are going fab, well al but the amount of hours i'm offered. What happens is,they feed everyone's availability into their schedule program, then it spews out everyone's shifts for the following week. It worls well for most people, but i was hoping and counting on having as close to 40 hours as possible, but it's not really going to happen. I'm good on the money side for now, but I realise that not getting the hours now will impact what I can plan and budget for when looking towards the New Year. The working envirnoment at American Eagle however is fantastic and the people that work there with me are great. We had a little AE shindig at Ryan's fancy Yaletown pad this last Saturday... Much merriment was had by all!!

Th search for office work started a week or so ago, firstly making contact with agencies to register my interest and to send my resume etc. Today I had two interviews, the first at 10am in Yaletown with Mcneill-Nakamoto, the second at 2pm with Ng Bower Staff systems. Both went really well, had a good introductary conversation with the ladies at each, filled in a few forms, then undertook computer tests that turned out to be the same at both. Performed above average at the first attempt in the morning, but aced the second test in the afternoon due to familiarality. Fingers crossed........

Vancouver is well and truly shaping up for Christmas!!! All the commercial street are now light up wonderfully with millions of fairly lights, and houses are now starting to follow suit. Last weekend there was a charity Santa parade downtown sponsored by Rogers communications. Consequent reports confirmed that there were over 300,000 people there to wave at the floats. I got a pic of the crowds looking down west pender towards Robson Street Square, but I didn't see the festive parade. I can't exactly remember where and what was happening, but i vaguely recall booking the CHL young prospect game tickets ready for January where the two day spectacular takes place here in Vancouver.

The flat hasn't been decked out yet with christmas decorations, but it is being worked on... I asked Allison my manager at AE if i could have the extra window dressing boxes along with the prop snowballs, I'll get my answer after the final holiday window dressing.

Oh and the mountains that provide the back drop to the Penthouse's wonderful view are all now nicley dusted with fresh snow... I assure you none of you would really like it!! haha ;o)
